In Memory of Christina Gandhi " I imagine you dancing away with your beautiful long curls spinning around to this song, then you grab me by my arm and make me dance with you...just like you used to. Love you so much it hurts, miss you every day...till I see you again.

Remember when you attended the Aids Project Dance with your Auntie Josie and you told me they thought you were a couple...how you thought that was funny. I wish to thank and praise God for these and so many precious memories; and also for his comforting touch when reminiscencing causes my heart to break in a million pieces and I start crying uncontrollably in front of strangers. We know God never makes mistakes- but it hurts so much losing you so suddenly- I just wish I had a little more time with you on this earth. Just want to thank God for giving me the opportunity to raise such a beautiful, loving and unselfish daughter who cared for friends and family so deeply - the proof is how many people considered her their best friend. Christina - my social butterfly, by now you have probably met many new friends up there. I know you’re happy walking with Jesus, hanging out with Grampa Vincenzo, Great Grandma and all our friends who have left this earth before you. The fact that you are finally free from your asthma, sinus problems and allergies that plagued you throughout your life brings some comfort to my heart.

You were always so generous with your love and your pocketbook, making sure everyone had the perfect card and gift for every occasion. And then there were the various fundraisers for Aids Project LA, American Cancer Society and the Revlon Breast Cancer walks you'd ask me to sponsor. Let's not forget your frequent visits to American Red Cross to donate blood. Your passion for giving started when you were 14 years old; we attended KLOS Mark and Brian's Blood Drive for a couple of tee shirts- then you were hooked.

Weekends are especially hard for me, because I would always call you on my way home from work Friday night to try to make an appt with you so we could squeeze in a visit to the nail salon, a movie or lunch somewhere. You always on the go, running to a BBQ, Wedding, Baptismal, Birthday party or on the way to the mall.

My beautiful Christina, we all miss you so much. I so looked forward to seeing you finish college, get married and give birth to my grandchilden. Our lives will never be the same without you. As for me I'm doing my best everyday to trust in God's will and even though I'm certain that you are safe in Heaven - I miss you each minute of everyday and wish you were still here with me.

We all look forward to being with you again soon when we get to Heaven.

  *^*^*^*^*Prayer for Christina*^*^*^*^*

O God, you gave me a daughter and in your wisdom and love have called her home to you before us. Please listen to our humble prayers, parden her sins and faults and grant her everlasting happiness until we are reunited in your presence.

Through your Son our Lord Jesus Christ, we beg this of you.

Amen.
